Get ready for a vibrant and exciting summer at the Easton Area Public Library! Our theme this year is COLOR OUR WORLD, and we’re excited to bring a whole lot of creativity to your summer. Readers of all ages are invited to join in the fun! Summer Reading 2025 begins on June 16, and paper logs will be available beginning that date at both EAPL locations. Register now on Beanstack!
 

Don't miss our kickoff on June 16, featuring Grins and Grins and other surprises. Other programs planned for the summer include a visit from our animal friends, color-your-own t-shirts, raffles for local prizes, reading the rainbow, and a lawn party for our summer finale. For a list of all our summer programs for all ages, visit our calendar.

Summer Reading for Children!  Ages 0 - 11

Get ready for a vibrant and exciting summer! Between June 16 and August 16, we challenge you to read for a total of 10 hours. If you complete this challenge, you'll get a cool 2025 Summer Reading t-shirt for free! Keeping track of your reading progress is easy. You can use the Beanstack app on your phone or simply fill out the paper log.

Enter our Experience and Gift Basket Raffles! For a chance to earn tickets for our raffle prizes, go above and beyond by writing a review or reading an additional 10 hours! Prize winners will be drawn and notified in mid to late August.

Don't miss our summer programs and events! We're looking forward to three months of festivities and fantastic books- all for free! Whether you’re interested in art, sewing, coding, gaming, or just hanging out with other kids, the Library has something for everybody this Summer! For a list of all our summer programs for all ages, visit our calendar.

Summer Reading for Teens! For ages 12 - 18

Teens can join the fun by logging their reading throughout the summer to earn badges and gift card prizes! Read a total of 480 minutes (8 hours) for prize #1 and read a total of 960 minutes (16 hours) for prize #2. Read a total of 1,500 minutes (25 hours) to complete the program and earn an extra raffle ticket towards a gift card grand prize. For a chance to earn additional grand prize raffle tickets, go above and beyond by writing reviews or Reading the Rainbow! Prize winners will be drawn and notified mid to late August.

*Please Note: Every raffle ticket earned is a chance to win a gift card grand prize. Entry does not guarantee a grand prize winning. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries.

Summer Reading for Adults! For ages 19 - 109

Adults can join the fun by logging their reading throughout the summer to earn badges! Read a total of 3,000 minutes (50 hours) to complete the program and earn raffle tickets for gift card prizes to local businesses. For a chance to earn additional prize tickets, go above and beyond by writing reviews or Reading the Rainbow! Prize winners will be drawn and notified mid to late August.

*Please Note: Every badge earned is a chance to win a gift card prize. Entry does not guarantee a prize. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries. Good luck!

How to Sign Up:

  1. Go to our Beanstack website.
  2. Click on "Register an Individual or Family". Or sign into your account if you are already registered.
  3. Fill in your information. Beanstack allows families to be linked together, so all members can access one login. 
  4. Registration for Summer Reading 2025 opens on June 16, and the challenge on Beanstack will be active beginning on that date. Sign up now on Beanstack to ensure your account is all set to go! 

The Beanstack App

Go to your device's app store, search for "Beanstack Tracker", and follow these steps:

  1. Search for Easton Area Public Library
  2. Click on our library.
  3. Follow the steps to register for an individual or family. 

How do I Log Minutes, Reviews and Activities?

  1. Visit our Beanstack website or open your Beanstack app.
  2. Click the "Log Reading and Activities" button in the upper left corner of the site or on the blue plus sign in the app.
  3. Follow the prompts on the screen to log whatever you've accomplished
  4. To log activities, go directly into the challenge, select "Bingo Card" or "Badges", and choose the activity you would like to complete.
  5. Earn a badge when you hit a reading landmark or complete a review / activity.
