Getting Started Guide

Creativebug is an inspirational resource for high-quality, on-trend arts and crafts instructional videos for crafters and makers. This resource offers on-demand access to a library of more than 1,000 classes for artists and creatives of all levels. All classes are taught by experts. The Creativebug app is available for iOS and Android.

Creating your account

• Using a web browser, go to the Library's Creativebug landing page and click the "Access Database" button.
• Enter your library card number and click "Log in" to get started.
• Enter your first and last name, your email, and choose a password. Click “Submit.”
• You're signed up! You should receive a "Welcome to Creativebug" email.

Using the app on your mobile device

• Search for "Creativebug" in your app store and install the app on your device.
• Once the app is installed, log in with the account you just created.

Searching for Classes

• There are multiple ways to find classes that interest you:
• Browse around the home screen.
• Search for a crafting topic using the search bar.
• Tap or click "Classes" or "Daily Practice" or "Learning Journeys."

Watching Classes

• Click or tap on a class to open it.
• For more information about the class, scroll to explore the tabs below the video.
• To save the class, click the "Add to Watchlist" button.
