Events at EAPL

Signing In

  • Using a web browser, go to the Library's NoveList Plus landing page and click the "Access Database" button.
  • Enter your EAPL library card number and click "Sign In".

To perform a Basic Search:  

  • Use the drop-down to select the type of search you want to do. A Keyword search will search in all fields.

  • Enter your keywords or search terms in the search bar. Search terms can include titles or authors, and also general words like "Mystery" or "Italy" to find books with those elements somewhere in the description. 
  • Click the Search button.
  • The Results list will display. Depending on the type of search and search terms you used, you will see one or more content option tabs: Books, Audiobooks, Series, Authors, Lists & Articles to choose from.

  • Use the Refine Results area to the left to narrow down your search results. Click Additional Limiters for more options. ​​​​​​​Refine results area with the Teen audience selected and publication date limited to 2018-2022.

  • ​​​​​​​Select a title to open the Detail Page and see more information including a description, series information, genre and themes, reviews, similar titles, and more! 

Check the EAPL Catalog

When you find a book on NoveList Plus, you can easily see if it is available in the library's catalog by clicking
"Check the library Catalog - a new window will openCheck the Library Catalog"  on the book's detail page. 

 

Setting up a Personal Account

Setting up a personal account in NoveList Plus allows you to save search results, searches, and search alerts in a personal folder for future use. To set up a personal account:

  • Click the Sign In link from the top of any page in NoveList Plus.
  • Click on the Sign Up link from the Sign In screen.

  • Complete the Create a New Account screen by entering your name, email address, and creating a password then click Create account.
  • The next time you navigate to the NoveList Plus homepage, you can click Sign In and continue with the username/email address and password you've created.
