Getting Started with ParentTV: Home

Summary

ParentTV offers thousands of on-demand parenting videos and courses with content designed to support those who care for children, from pregnancy through to teenage years. ParentTV works with leading psychologists, pediatricians, mental health specialists, nutritionists, occupational therapists and parenting educators across the globe. 

Search and find videos on general parenting, play, behavior, child development, mental health, sleep, nutrition, technology and more. Most videos are under 10 minutes in length and can be accessed on your computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Logging In

  • Using a web browser, go to the Library's ParentTV landing page landing page and click the "Access Database" button.
  • Enter your EAPL library card number, click the box to accept the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policies, then click "Login".

Navigating ParentTV

  • There are several ways to explore, search, and filter for topics in ParentTV. In the upper right-hand corner of the homepage, patrons can click on "Videos" to filter by children's ages and languages options, "Series" to watch curated playlists on various topics, and "Experts" to filter videos by their creators.
    • ParentTV offers videos in 5 different languages: Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin, Hindi, and Spanish! Click on "Videos" to filter by language.

  • Patrons can also explore parenting topics from the categories listed in the left-hand column of the screen, or by using the search bar:
